Lecture Details: |
In Parshas Va'eschanan, Hashem says He did not choose Israel because we were the most numerous nation, for in fact we are the smallest of the nations. Why would we have thought G-d would favor us for our superior numbers? Would one really have thought G-d would be wowed by quantities -- rather than spirit and deeds? This lecture discusses Israel's role vis-à-vis the nations and how we best carry it out. |
