In this week’s portion, Avraham’s kindness is contrasted with Sodom’s corruption. Sodom is destroyed, and Avraham is given the task of laying the foundation for a healthy society. The class focuses on Chapter 18: Verses 17-19, where Hashem explains that he can not conceal from Avraham his plan to destroy Sodom.
