Avraham Avinu had tremendous ahava (love), and his entire relationship was that everyone should act out of ahava and inspiration. Because he did not want anyone to be coerced into Judaism, he lost the opportunity to bring people close to Hashem. After the Akeida, Avraham learned the lesson of the importance of boundaries, subordinates and yirah. One needs both ahava and yirah. |
