39 - Ki Savo - Deep Gratitude- First Aliyah
Speaker:   Hauer, Rabbi Moshe
Series: Weekly Parsha Shiur, 5770 - Parsha Plan
Lecture Details:  In the first aliyah of Parshas Ki Savo, the mitzvah of bringing bikkurim is described. When we thank Hashem for the first fruits, we start by tracing our roots back to Lavan, acknowledging many steps along the way that brought us to Eretz Yisroel. This depth of appreciation requires thought and investigation, and is not a superficial expression of thanks. When we properly express our gratitude, we connect to Hashem in a deeper way, and open up the possibility for Him to send more blessing into our lives.
