Menashe and Efraim are the first brothers with complete unity. Yosef deliberately places his sons that Menashe should be on Yaakov’s right, and tries to object when Yaakov Avinu switches his hands when he blesses them. We explore here the significance and symbolism behind Yaakov Avinu switching his hands, instead of having Menashe and Efraim simply switch places.
