It is known that Avraham was the patriarch associated with “Love of G-d,” while his son Yitzchak was associated with “Awe of G-d.” This class explores how Yitzchak’s contribution of awe, built on his father’s contribution of Love, and was the next step in the three part process (that would reach conclusion with Yaakov). The class focuses on how man can use the aspect of awe to transform love (which can often fluctuate), into a lasting and consistent relationship. The class also reviews the story of Yitzchak and the wells, and what it can teach us about building a relationship with G-d.
