Chayei Sarah- Passing the Patriarchal Baton- 5th Aliyah
Speaker:   Hauer, Rabbi Moshe
Series: Weekly Parsha Shiur, 5774 - Parsha Plan
Lecture Details:  There are two primary stories in Parshas Chayei Sarah--the story of Sarah Imeinu being buried, and the story of Eliezer going to find a wife for Rivka. These stories are really connected; after Sarah Imeinu dies, she is replaced by the next matriarch, Rivka. We explore 3 different ways that the relationship of Yitzchak and Rivka replaces that of Avraham and Sarah in continuing the chain of the patriarchal families of Klal Yisroel.
