Rav Brevda uses his vast array of sources to convey who is a Jew. Additionally he works in material on the Churban and Tisha B'Av. The times for the program at Young Israel of Midwood are 9pm for the minyon Monday night followed by the shiur at 10pm. Eicha will be leigned from a Klaf by a descendent of the Chasam Sofer. Tuesday the shiur will be at 3 pm in the main shul. Please remember to bring your own kinnos/siddur by night, as well as something to sit on (unless you want to sit on the carpeted floor. The Senior Center/YI of Midwood doesn't not want their chairs used as lounge items. By night while there is no admission the Rav will be collecting for his tzedakas if you remember to bring tender. By day their will be the usual minimal donation requested as well as CDs and tapes available. Should you wish to daven mincha b4 the day shiur, YIM will have a 2pm minyon in the front Beis Medrash. Also YIM is running the Chafetz Chaim Foundation video followed by another film. This program is scheduled for the lower level beginning at 4:30 pm.
