The portion has two general subjects, the Sale of Yosef and the story of Yehuda and Tamar, which is told in the middle of Yosef’s story. This class focuses on the connection between these stories, and the two aspects of redemption embodied by Yosef and Yehuda as individuals and for future generations until the coming of the Mashiach ben Yosef and Mashiach ben David.
