Parshas Naso includes the topic of Sotah. We read this parsha right before Shavuos, when we learn about Rus. Rus characterizes chesed (kindness) and tznius (modesty), which are the opposite of sotah. These characteristics require giving outside of oneself and avoiding having attention on oneself which lead to a relationship of commitment and loyalty, which is the antithesis of sotah. |
