The Mitzvah of Haggadah
Speaker:   Hauer, Rabbi Moshe
Series: Pesach Shiurim
Lecture Details:  We have a daily mitzvah to remember Yetzias Mitzrayim, but only have the mitzvahof Sippur (telling about) Yetzias Mitzrayim once a year. We discuss three distinctions between these mitzvos. Primarily, the mitzvahof Sippur Yetzias Mitzrayim is structured around explaining the mitzvos as we are doing them. Additionally, we are thanking Hashem and giving Him praise. The third element is the importance of seeing ourselves as if we left Mitzrayim, on the anniversary of the day that it actually happened.
