WIT Parsha - Tazria Metzora - The Creative Power of Speech
Speaker:   Hauer, Rabbi Moshe
Series: Women's Institute of Torah Parsha Shiur, 5767
Lecture Details:  The metzora misuses his power of speech, the divinely given attribute that distinguishes and elevates human from animal. Speech is a tremendously power tool, one which can create realities both mystically and in actuality. Our power of speech is one that enables us to form connections and bonds with people, and we must be careful to preserve it in its positive form. When we were redeemed from Mitzrayim, we were liberated to use our positive power of speech in order to forge connections and unify as Klal Yisroel.
