The young couple had just settled into their new home. Gazing out the window the wife remarks "Look, our neighbors laundry is so dingy. She doesn't know how to wash correctly. She may need better soap." Her husband looked on, but remained silent.
Every time the neighbor would hang wash to dry, the young woman would make the same comments.
A month later, the woman was surprised to see a bright clean wash hanging on the line. She remarked to her husband "Look she has learned how to wash correctly... I wonder who taught her?"
The husband softly replied "I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows."
And so it is with life! Often what we perceive in others depends on the purity of the window through which we look!
