In this set of shiurim, we look at Shir Ha-Shirim. These shiurim are based on Rashi's approach to Shir Ha-Shirim. According to Rashi, Shir Ha-Shirim is a song in which the Jews ask G-d to bring us back to our original state of having a close relationship with Him. The Megila uses the entire experience of Jewish History as the way we see this relationship. This shiur looks at the first two chapters of the Megila. This part of the Megila defines the basis of the relationship between G-d and the Jews and also looks at the Jews in Egypt, the leaving of Egypt, and Matan Torah.
