Series: Shabbos |
|
For the past ten years Rabbi Yaakov Labinsky has inspired his students in both weekly group classes and in one on one sessions to love learning Torah through his unique style of combining modern psychology and Jewish wisdom. Yaakov's teaching style challenges both the beginner and advanced Torah student to look between the lines of the text to discover deeper meaning which encourages character growth and introspection. From the study of Jewish holidays, the laws of the Sabbath to ethics of our Fathers, Rabbi Labinsky's students find intellectual stimulation as well as practical application for Jewish wisdom in many areas of their personal life.
Rabbi Labinsky's students typically leave his classes energized by his teachings and desirous of sharing their knowledge with friends. The lessons are rich in insightful advice for how to have the most pleasureful and meaningful relationships. It's no surprise that his students have become closely connected friends as a result of sharing the experience of learning Torah through this paradigm. The more one learns with Rabbi Labinsky, the greater his/her sensitivity will be towards seeing spirituality in the physical world and opportunities for personal growth in all of one's everyday activities. |
