Project Genesis
Series: Tisha B'av 5776
Eicha commentary and Kinos elucidation All of the challenges and difficulties that we experience as a nation are connected to the destruction of the Beis Hamikdash. We are now in the three week mourning process leading to Tisha BAv, the day when we mourn every tragedy that the Jewish people have experienced. The absence of Hashems presence with the destruction of the Beis Hamikdash has left us vulnerable and weak, subject to many difficulties. The shiurim featured below are from discussions on Tisha BAv about different individuals who experienced churban (destruction), and rebuilt from the ashes. We try to attune ourselves to the anguish of our loss, yet at the same time worry about the future and learn to be proactive, so that we, too, can try and rebuild.
