The King and I - Maintaining the Relationship (Pre or Post Rosh Hashana)
Speaker:   Alter, Rabbi Avrohom M.
Series: Hashkafah -Thought
Lecture Details:  Why on Rosh Hashana do we need to coronate Hashem as the king when he has already been the king since creation? Why does Hashem close down the heavenly supreme court on Rosh Hashana to judge by himself? King David says (Tehillim 143) "Do not bring us to judgement for no living creature can be found totally righteous before you". Yet in Tehillim 26 he says "Judge me Hashem"!
