Pachad Yitzchok Chanukah 1
Speaker:   Hauer, Rabbi Moshe
Series: Pachad Yitzchok
Lecture Details:  The Pachad Yitzchok discusses Chanukah as a Yom Tov (holiday) of Torah SheBa'al Peh(the Oral Law). The Oral Torah is what gives us the exclusive relationship with Hashem, as no one else can access it. The Chashmonaim (Hasmoneans) fought to preserve this bris that the Yevonim (Greeks) wanted to destroy. Chanukah represents the bris and exclusive relationship that Hashem has with the Jewish people.
