In this shiur, we look at the next four of the Shir Ha-Mallos'. Chapter 123 in Tehillim is a prayer of the Jewish People in exile. We see in this prayer different aspects of accepting G-d's Justice. Chapter 124 in Tehillim is also a prayer of the Jewish People in exile. This chapter in Tehillim examines the Historical pattern of the sufferings of the Jews in exile. Chapter 125 in Tehillim examines the strength of someone who has bitachon. We also learn in this chapter who is able to have bitachon. Chapter 126 in Tehillim is the Shir Ha-Maalos that we traditionally say before the Bircas Ha-mazon on Shabbos and Yom Tov. We learn from this chapter in Tehillim how the difficulties of the exile will ultimately help us. |
