In this shiur we look at the historical background of the destruction of the First Bais Ha-Mikdash. We look at the connection between the Davidic dynasty and the Bais Ha-Mikdash. We also look at the tragic founding of the Kingdom of Israel and how this affected Jewish History. We also briefly examine the conflict between Chizkiyahu and Sancheriv.
