Lecture Details: |
Tzipora, the wife of Moshe, is a very significant, interesting personality. Although she is only mentioned four times in the Torah, from those events there is much to learn about her character, her marriage to Moshe and their subsequent separation. Tzipora means bird, a creature who purifies, and whose domain is somewhere between the land and the heavens. Moshe tried to live with this dynamic and ambiguity- at times Hashem permitted it, and at other times, He told Moshe that he must be above and separate. |
