In the first aliyah of Parshas Vayeishev, Yosef recounts his dreams to his brothers. These dreams seem to be ordinary dreams, and the brothers are upset that Yosef seems to be trying to take charge of them. However, Yosef recognizes that the dreams are from Hashem, as are all of his abilities to interpret them. Yosef is able to see the presence of Hashem in the regular happenings of the mundane world in a different way than his father or brothers see. |
