Convention 2007
Over the last 100 years, various practices have become the accepted norm in the hanhaga of Klal Yisroel that in earlier times would have been considered beyond the pale either from a Halachic perspective, a Hashkafic perspective, or both. Yet, with time, what seems to be new norms have emerged. For example, we now have women in the workplace, Bais Yaakov schools, work on communal issues with non-Jewish clergy, and teaching classes of mixed groups.ow does this process work? How is that Klal Yisroel is able to creatively adapt, on the one hand, while, at the same time, maintain the integrity of Halacha and Hashkafa.
