Do current outreach techniques attract the highest achieving 20%? Is it possible that some prevalent forms of` kiruv not only fail to draw future leaders, but actually turn them off Judaism? This talk will explore the consequences of simplistic kiruv, the damaging impression that it may give to high-achievers, and which alternatives might succeed in attracting this difficult but crucial target group.
