Religious differences amongst couples in the Baal Teshuva community are quite common, and are often a destabilizing force for the marriage and disruptive to the growth and well being of each spouse. Relationship dynamics and personality features that promote or impede growth will be discussed, with special emphasis placed on specific personality types or disorders that are impediments to healthy religious growth.
