Originally presented as a special Aseres Yemai Teshuva presentation in Minneapolis, this shiur is very much based on Parshas Noach and as relevant year round.
Who doesn't want to be the recipient of Shomayim's Rachamim - mercy and compassion - on the day Hakadosh Baruch Hu's Heavenly court reviews and seals our judgment... Yom Kippur? We daven, we plead, we cry, but are we always successful with our supplications alone?
Chazal revealed to us a secret...a means of guaranteeing for ourselves an abundance of Shomayim's compassion - transforming ourselves into beneficiaries of His Rachamim - Divine Mercy- from above!
A close examination of a section of the Rosh Hashana teffilos reveals the true mission of Noach during the dark days of the Mabul and his true task of self perfection over the year's time spent in the Teivah. This reveals to us a (not so well kept) secret for all of us to benefit from!
