We are all familiar with the Midrash of how the stones Yaakov placed around his head miraculously became one large stone, in order to quell their individual grievances of: "on me should the Tzadik rest his head."
However we might ask: Although they were now combined as one large stone, nevertheless Yaakov's head was still only resting on one individual part of this combined stone - and not on all of it or all its parts! How then did uniting the stones fulfill their desire?
