The second aliyah (section) speaks about which birds the Torah tells us to take for a Korban (sacrifice). The Torah says to use animals that are easily accessible and subordinate to human beings as a Jew should not have to become a hunter to serve Hashem. In this shiur we contrast Korbanos with hunting and we discuss how bringing a Korban to Hashem is the opposite path of the path chosen by the hunter. |
