The goal of Torah and teshuva is to take us into an otherworldly existence without physical concerns such as sustenance. The Kohanim and Leviim received no portion because their lot was total commitment to Hashem. This existence is not limited to Kohanim and Leviim alone; rather, anyone who fully commits his life to Hashem will merit living completely under Hashem's guidance. |
