In this week's parsha we have the laws of a slave reverting back to its owner, and the understanding that there is no way to enslave someone completely. Hashem brought us out of Egypt, to go to Har Sinai, to free us from slavery of Pharaoh in order to be His slaves. Avdus (servitude) of Gd is exclusive; in order to be a true eved Hashem, it is crucial to understand that there is no other layer that has control over us.
